Notes on Beta Test (testing ended / builds removed)
**Thanks to all who tried out the beta! I've removed the builds to prep for launch but please message me if you're still testing and need anything. Not sure if there's a point to saving this post but I will!**
V1.1: Fixed a battle issue in turn order. If you were to kill an enemy right before its turn, it would still use a move.
V1.2: Fixed a few instances of NPC dialog not working.
V1.3: My gosh, I swear I tested this. I'm loving the feedback though! Fixed some wonky art and layer issues (in lab area). Added more in-game text with better directions. Tweaked soccer goal things. I think this will be my last build for a minute unless something game-breaking is found.
V1.4: Locked doors fixed. Bonko & confusion fixed. A slew of 'general quality' things updated. This is the final beta!
Known / Unresolved Issues:
- Controller support - mainly exiting out of some menus or text doesn't work. Button selection on level up screens is still unreliable. You can play with a controller, it's just advised to have a mouse nearby.
- Screen scaling - playing in 1920 x 1080 (or larger) should be fine. Tests on smaller screens mess up camera bounds (camera will pan past the edge of the level), but otherwise the game still seems playable.
Locked doors that require multiple keys don't always remove all the keys.
Bonkoball has some issues. You have to kill the enemies in order to win ('winning' with a ball goal triggers a game over...). Also some turn order issues when status effects are used. The confusion status effect is being wonky. Symbol won't show at times when chars are confused.
Please use the feedback form linked on the page to notify me of bugs - or just anything that could be better about the game!
